Hazards Process Safety Conference | 17-19 November
The Hazards Process Safety Conference will take place on 17–19 November. This long-standing conference, with a history dating back to 1960, is widely recognised as one of the leading events in the field of process safety.
Hazards brings together industry practitioners to share good practice, emerging insights and lessons learned, while offering a platform for technical discussion and professional networking.
As in previous years, Hazards 36 will cover a broad range of process safety topics, supporting professionals in strengthening their approach to managing major hazards. The programme will focus on:
- how good practice is identified, embedded and sustained;
- the critical role of executive leadership;
- the evolving hazard implications of new technologies and applications.
The conference also emphasises cross-sector learning, recognising that many current challenges are best addressed collectively.
Drawing on real-world examples, Hazards 36 will explore how the sector is responding to wider developments such as climate change, decarbonisation, the energy transition and increasing digitalisation.
Call for content
The call for content is open until 5 June 2026. Proposals are invited for oral presentations and concise, visually impactful flash posters. Contributions are particularly encouraged from professionals with practical experience in managing process safety risks.
