This workshop introduces E-HAZOP, an adaptation of the classic HAZOP method for electrical installations. It explains why traditional HAZOP is insufficient for modern electrical process systems, and presents three E-HAZOP studies: SAFAN, SYSOP, and OPTAN.

Using battery energy storage and shore power projects, as an example, it shows how the method identifies hazards, assesses safeguards, and improves safe design and operation.
