In this role our main focus is to enable MOL Group's HSE strategy to achieve all the key targets in all countries.
Our biggest achievement:
- To ease the replacement of PFAS based firefighting foams we created a comprehensive and rigid test protocoll, built a strong and trusted contact with all the relevant manufacturers to sent back field test results, representing our results in major local and international affiliates and found the best solutions for the company in every country,
- Managed the upgrade of the ENABLON software and delivered the project on time and without interuptions. -

Koerts (Tijs)
Tijs Koerts studied chemistry at the Utrecht University and obtained a PhD at the Eindhoven University of Technology. He got his process safety experience at DuPont, GE plastic and Lyondell Basell Industries, where he worked with all kinds of hazardous processes in both technical, operational and business roles. He is a passionate coach, trainer and speaker.
Since 2017 he is also Operations Director for the European Process Safety Centre.

Roosendans (Dirk)
Dirk Roosendans holds a master degree in Chemical Engineering, a master degree in Safety Engineering and a PhD in Engineering Science. He has been working for more than 30 years in the area of process safety, the first 10 years with some consulting companies and more than 20 years in different business units of TotalEnergies (chemicals, petrochemicals, refining). In his career, he performed hundreds of technical and non-technical studies and audits in the area of process safety. He gave dozens of presentations on process safety related matters at international conferences and is author of several peer reviewed publications in professional journals. He is also the winner of several awards for his developments in process safety. Dirk Roosendans intervenes as a trainer at several universities and schools. Currently, Dirk Roosendans is the deputy manager of the major risks division of the One HSE direction of TotalEnergies at HQ Paris La Défense (France).
